Food rations in support of peacekeeping operations
To support approximately 75,000 peacekeeping personnel, our company sources, stores, manages, and delivers food rations and bottled water, and provides other services and equipment to personnel at their deployed locations. Our client's approximate annual expenditure on food rations is $300 million.
The Client does not purchase food directly from food manufacturers/suppliers. Instead, the
Client contracts Centro Vida Inc. to provide key services placed in its hands, including:
- We source approximately 500 different high-quality food items;
- Warehousing;
- Delivery of rations to end users;
- We implement opportunities for the circular economy;
Our company ensures that the purchased food meets the Client's Ration Standards regarding food quality and safety.
